You Have to Eat at This Cozy Heritage Home in Victoria, BC

It's always nice to find home away from home when you're travelling, and you'll find that at Nourish Kitchen & Cafe in Victoria, BC -- literally. You'll find a warm and inviting space in this heritage home from 1889 as you wander from room to room, where you can sit and study for a while, grab a coffee to go, or enjoy a great meal in the dining room.

The Dining Room

When you first enter the house, you'll see the charming and quaint dining room, which serves both brunch, lunch, and dinner. Nourish is a whole foods restaurant with a seasonal menu, and they have tons of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. You get a fresh, quality meal in a relaxed environment, and it really feels like you're back at home! But better.

The Cafe

Whether you want a coffee to go or some healthy snacks, you can stop in at the cafe on the first floor for some gluten-free baking, yummy coffee, house made water kefir, and even a bone broth bar (because you're on The Island, after all).

The Study

If you head on upstairs to the second floor in the house, you'll find the bright and quiet study. It's the perfect place to pull out your laptop and get some work done, and the plants and natural lighting make it super peaceful and relaxing. Just order at the cafe and take your coffee upstairs, it's very reminiscent of living with your parents and retreating to your room. By night, the study transforms into an intimate dining room that's perfect for a romantic cocktail!

Victoria is a great place to visit for a weekend trip if you're in Washington or British Columbia, it's just a short ferry away from Seattle/Vancouver and it's such a charming little city! Make sure you visit Nourish, and like always, tag us in any of your Instagram photos from your trip.
