Top 5 Places to Visit in Sonoma Valley

Heading to California wine country? If you want to skip the typical Napa tourist route, head to Sonoma instead and check out these local favorites! From hipster wineries to micro-roasteries, we have you covered with these top 5 places to visit in Sonoma Valley.

1. The Fremont Diner

The quintessential "chill" spot of Sonoma Valley, Fremont Diner is home to delicious, locally-sourced comfort food. From chicken and waffles to biscuits and gravy, this is definitely the place to carbo load before all that wine tasting!

2. Scribe Winery

We've said it twice and we'll say it again: this is THE place to go in Sonoma. Enjoy wine tastings on a hill surrounded by friends, sunshine, and gorgeous vineyards. When you have a bit of a buzz, walk it off on their beautiful grounds, which were once home to a speakeasy! {More: Part 1, Part 2}

3. Flying Goat Coffee

The micro-roaster of Sonoma County, Flying Goat Coffee is brewing up the best beans in the area. What started as a cafe in Healdsburg, CA has grown to three, including this bright shop in Santa Rosa, CA. We are just dying to go here!

4. Healdsburg Shed

It's a farm, it's a shed, it's a market for everything! Stop by to grab everything you need for the perfect picnic, or stay a while and enjoy the fermentation bar, coffee shop, or general store. Either way, you HAVE to try the fried chicken. It's seriously the best. {More}

5. Indian Springs Pool

This is another one for our Sonoma bucket list, but relaxing in the mineral pools at Indian Springs Calistoga seems like the perfect way to wrap up a weekend in wine country. The hot mineral water is fed by geysers and runs at about 100 degrees Fahrenheit!

PS - We have a little announcement! As you may have noticed, we are now sharing a new blog post every weekday! So come back and visit us on your lunch break, or stay a little while longer on the weekends. Either way, we are SO thankful for each and every one of you!

Oh, and don't forget to selfie.
